Create with Consciousness at Our Sustainable Costumes Workshop
 

Transform pre‑loved costumes and recycled materials into stunning sustainable art in this immersive one‑day workshop. Bring any old costume (optional) you would like to repurpose, work on it during the session and take your new creation home!

What’s Included:

  • Full‑day hands‑on workshop (10:00 AM–5:00 PM)
  • Take‑home self‑study assignment to continue developing your skills
  • One 1:1 online consultation with Melissa Simon‑Hartman to review your assignment and provide personalised feedback
  • Light refreshments provided (please bring a packed lunch)
  • Bring Your Own Costume: Have a beloved costume you’d like to upcycle? Bring it along and transform it on the day using workshop techniques.
     

Materials & Costume Options:

  • Option 1: Bring your own costume to transform during the workshop and take your new creation home with you.
     
  • Option 2: Practice on a costume supplied by the UK Centre of Carnival Arts; please note centre‑supplied costumes and materials must remain at the centre after the session for future use.
