The A.F.I.A vision was simple: create a wearable collection that is a fusion of contemporary African design and 90’s hip-hop aesthetic, two things very close to Melissa’s heart.
Melissa is a busy mother with a desire to wear clothing that is comfortable yet edgy, so she designed a collection of streetwear pieces that she would be happy to wear herself.
AFIA is a small independent brand which we are proud to be described as slow fashion. Boasting unisex styles, each item of clothing is crafted ethically in the U.K. in limited runs. Our premium leisure footwear is hand-crafted by experienced shoe artisans in Italy, and the boxes are designed as collectable art series’.
